You will be required to take and pass an open-book exam for each course, every 18 days.

I passed the state exam, now what?
After you Pass the State Exam:
Log onto your eLicensing account, visit your exam results, and download/complete the appropriate application:
Salesperson License Application (RE 202); or
Broker License Application (RE 200)
Submit the completed license application with:
A completed Live Scan Service Request (RE 237) 
Note: DRE cannot issue a license until they receive fingerprint response information. See Fingerprint Requirements for further information.
The appropriate Original License Fee.
